During the summer vacation 2017 I was traveling with my family and friends in Namibia for about 3 weeks. We drove from lodge to lodge with a 4x4 pick up. We have made a round trip from / to Windhoek. Namibia fascinated me because the landscape is very barren and dry. It is desert-like and I like this. I also loved the wildlife. There are so many beautiful animals that we cannot find anywhere in Europe. You can meet animals anytime, anywhere, that's what makes Namibia special. In addition, the night sky was very clear and you could watch all the stars. It was wonderful. Namibia is certainly not for someone who is looking for lush vegetation. You also have to know that it gets very hot during the day and very, very cold at night. Our summer is ideal because the daytime temperature is tolerable.
